Scacchiera rustica nera 40mm
Masterfully handcrafted from aged Mediterranean olive timber, the SC-74-40 rustic black chess board is an exquisite exhibition-grade board combining timeless traditional woodworking with raw natural edge aesthetics. The central 8×8 tournament playing surface features 64 precision-inlaid 40 mm square tiles, contrasting glowing golden-honey olive wood with deep charcoal-black stained tiles to deliver exceptional visual legibility and tactile delight. Encasing the playing deck is a substantial four-piece solid olive wood frame joined at the corners with seamless 45-degree miter joints, each outer edge preserving the organic live-edge bark contour unique to the original tree. Designed as a sleek, low-profile flat slab without lower drawers (approx. 2.2 cm thickness), this board offers rock-solid tabletop stability and effortless portability, protected by a silky hand-rubbed food-safe vegetable oil finish.
